Job Description

Kelly Services has a customer in West Chester looking for a Materials Management Technician (shipping & receiving) for 1st shift, minimum $13/hr.

Job Summary - Receives, stores, stocks & distributes clinical supplies and maintains inventory according to established schedules and procedures using data entry for inventory control & distribution. Maintains cleanliness & order of the warehouse/storage areas in compliance with GMP's.

Skills/knowledge required:

HSD/GED minimum, prefer BA/BS in science based field.

Mathematical & analytical skills needed to complete required documentation in a thorough & accurate manner.

Ability to read, understand, and follow/implement directions.

Fluency in the English language (written and oral skills)

Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Clear & concise oral and written communication skills

Effective interpersonal/communication and organizational skills to work in a team environment.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of GMP processes

Able to adapt to multiple computer applications e.g. ERP system

3-5 years previous pharmaceutical packaging/labeling experience, preferably in clinical supplies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Shipping/Receiving (30%) - Physically receive, inspect & reconcile incoming material & place in warehouse accordingly.

Coordinate shipment of all clinical supplies for logistical planning & accurate determination of timeline receipt to various sites.

Prepare all shipping documentation (domestic & international)

Ship clinical supplies to other customer hubs for distribution.

Canada customs & Customs Broker interactions to ensure prompt release & delivery of shipments in/out of the country.

Arrange special couriers as req'd to handle urgent & after hours requests.

Warehousing (30%) - Ensure warehouse is kept "audit ready" at all times.

Audit participation as needed/required

Ensure ITS is up to date for all inventory receipts/moves.

Perform annual cycle counts for all items.

Stage materials as req'd for packaging & labeling activities, store finished goods & updating ITS.

Returned goods (30%) - receipt/reconciliation of pharmaceutical returns

Control, stage, document, and coordinate pickup of returned goods for destruction

Coordinate destruction requests with 3rd party, ensuring receipt of "Certificate of Destruction" in a timely manner.

Miscellaneous (10%) - Ensure documentation trail clearly reflects confirmation of pharmaceutical receipts at ALL receiving sites.

Responsible to investigate and isolate any material/product identified as having quality problem until corrective action identified by QA.

Completion of pristine documentation to support all material management responsibilities.

Forecast/anticipate bottleneck issues and offer potential solutions.

Author, revise, and train on SOP's relating to job duties.

Physical requirements:

Requires a SIGNIFICANT amount of walking & standing

Regularly lifts medium weight objects by hand (up to 75lbs)

Moderate amount of bending, crouching, stretching, or reaching.

May require the operation of forklift/walker-stacker to move ,materials within the warehouse
