Aerotek Telecom Program Manager in New Albany, Ohio

Position Summary:

The Program Manager is responsible for meeting the business's strategic objectives including growth, customer satisfaction, and other program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The Program Manager provides leadership and direction to program supervisors and leads and their teams, and ensures that all projects meet their required Cost, Quality and Timing metrics. This role is central to maintaining and growing relationships with key client stakeholders and for providing overall governance for the engagement.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the overall program plan for our engagement including project management, resource management, performance management, competency development and customer management

  • Oversee supervisors and leads and their teams, and ensure that all projects meet their defined objectives

  • Provide governance for the engagement by scheduling and leading periodic business reviews with customer management; provide timely reports and updates to management regarding these business reviews

  • Coordinate meetings with customer's technical stakeholders to facilitate workflow development, scope development, issues resolution, work forecasting and planning

  • Provide support to finance team to ensure that all billing and invoicing activities are completed in a timely manner and with a high level of accuracy

  • Chair the quality management activities of the engagement to ensure that consistent quality methods and systems are deployed and executed throughout the engagement

  • Maintain, monitor, and manage program budgets; plan, control and allocate resources to meet program requirements

  • Collaborate with client and EASi management to determine optimum program staffing levels; manage program workforce: hire, terminate, promote, demote, schedule and review performance

  • Develop and implement employee performance and development plans to meet overall program goals

  • Support business development activities to achieve growth of the account, including the creation and delivery of capabilities and solutions presentations, proposal development, contract management and the support of general sales activities as needed

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or IT discipline

  • 10 years of experience managing large technical teams of diverse skill sets

  • 10 years of experience in the utility industry
