We are seeking an IT Security Engineer who will report directly to the Manager of IT Security and Compliance and be an integral member of our Global Technology Team
In this role, the IT Security Engineer will assess and improve the IT Security efforts of the Firm.
We seek a security advocate with a balanced perspective for the needs of IT Security with the need for our attorneys to be able to efficiently and effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients around the world. The Security Engineer will lead various security design and implementation initiatives for the Firm. It is expected that the person accepting this role will be able to translate internal and external client requirements into comprehensive and maintainable solutions that adhere to the Firm’s evolving security framework.
We require a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college plus five to seven years of experience in designing and building IT network security systems for the protection of an enterprise network, or a minimum of ten to fifteen years of experience in lieu of degree. Prior experience in SIEM, alerting, incident detection and response preferred. Experience with compliance standards and security best practices (ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST, DISA, STIGs and/or PCI) a plus. Working knowledge of TCP/IP and various troubleshooting techniques required. CISSP certification preferred. From time to time travel to an office location may be required.
