Act as Strategic Business Partner. Provide guidance and coaching to Global Finance and IT Leaders and associates regarding human resource practices, interpretation of company policies, problem solving, mediation, conflict management and compliance.
Lead & drive the execution of core HR processes including job grading, executive compensation, career planning, performance management, organizational development, succession planning, recruiting and staffing to create a high-performance organization.
Develop the next generation of leaders through strategic talent acquisition, competency building programs, coaching, development programs and learning initiatives.
Lead and drive key HR projects/initiatives at corporate level and/or across functions & regions. Specifically, Finance Transformation and Global Business Services Buildout.
HR Generalist for Global Finance and IT (Including North America and Corporate support for both functions)- lead recruitment, talent management, talent development, performance management, succession planning and other key HR activities as required.
Interface with the global leadership team and regional leadership teams (both functional and HR teams) to develop sound HR processes/systems and ensure that the same is performed and implemented in One Goodyear Way.
Participate in various transformation workstreams/activities as HR Subject Matter Expert and help to drive activities to engage, enable & empower associates.
Clarify organizational needs and translate them into appropriate HR actions and solutions, by leveraging best-practices and internal/external benchmarking.
Maintain GY culture and ethics within the organization. Ensuring that all HR processes and procedures are line with GY policies.
Drive and support business decisions and compliance
BS Degree in HR, business or related field
MBA &/or related field
5 or more years of progressive experience in human resources.
Experience leading projects across organizations and regions
Experience working with senior leaders, training and public speaking
Experience supporting functions in a highly complex, global, matrixed environment
Strong knowledge of. U.S. HR practices (EEO, Affirmative Action)
