The Air Force is undergoing a sustainment transformation of its business practices and supporting information systems. Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) is currently reengineering and transforming these logistics businesses processes, systems and organizational structures as part of the broader Department of Defense (DoD) effort to better support the Warfighter. The systems integration division, HQ AFMC/A4N (“A4N”) is reengineering the logistics information technology (IT) domain consisting of supply, maintenance and product portfolios. AFMC/A4N seeks to continue work stream integration efforts that support core logistics functions as well as promote transformative initiatives designed to simplify portfolio management and deliver enhanced war-fighting capability to functional customers across AFMC. IT solutions are to follow the SAF/US (M) mandated AFMAN 33-402, Service Development and Delivery Process (SDDP) methodology. The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Capability Initiative consists of managing and synchronizing product lifecycle information; manage engineering and technical assistance requests, and managing engineering analytics.
The Contractor shall provide personnel experienced in and capable of providing the following:
Technical expertise relating to transformative IT solutions and PLM capabilities
Technical expertise for legacy remediation or sub-sumption

Program Certification to the Defense Business Systems Management Committee

Defense Information Technology Portfolio Repository (DITPR)
Information Assurance (IA)/Federal Information Security Management (FISMA)
Provide and recommend industry best practices, as requested, by the Government
Provide technical services for the transition plans to migrate legacy applications and legacy environments to integrate with transformative capabilities. This will include legacy system mapping within the current business process as well as the future state business process model to include functional capabilities and interface migration needs.
Provide technical services for the preparation and maintaining the product support systems legacy migration and interface plan.
Provide technical services for the planning and execution of legacy and other initiative’s transformation activities at the MAJCOMs, AFMC Centers and their operating location.
Provide input to the IMS relative to legacy migration andinterface activities.
- Bachelor's degree.
