Candidate will be able to provide cradle-to-grave cost and funding analysis
and reporting to assist the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution
process to include FMS programs. Analysis includes but not limited to:
detailed financial forecasting and execution; budget and voucher tracking;
program financial requirements tracking; cost and funding status. Analysis is
performed and reported utilizing various financial software systems such as:
CCaRs, ABSS, STARS, SMART, etc. Candidate uses quantitative analytical
techniques to assess program process issues and develop risk
reduction/mitigation approaches for improving program planning, control, and
execution. Develops documentation, reports, and project plans and prepares and
may present briefings and staff seminars. The candidate must possess
sufficient motivation and experience to perform with minimal supervision of a
senior program manager. High School graduate (required), some College
(desired). At least 2 years experience with Air Force organizations.
Requires understanding of cost estimating methodologies for AF weapon systems
and weapon system components. Must be able to use the AF Comprehensive Cost
and Requirements System (CCaRs) to help define program requirements, formulate
program budgets, forecast program, execution and track the execution of
program funds. Must be able to assist program managers in comparing actual
execution to the revised and baseline forecasts to status performance as
measured against the baseline and DoD execution goals. Requires experience in
positions that demonstrate interfacing with persons in a variety of
situations. Applicants selected will be subject to a background
investigation. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and possess at least a SECRET
Clearance.
