Associate Risk Management Specialist
Responsible for identifying, analyzing and communicating of IT Governance risks. Manage, document and disseminate responses which summarize and exhibit supporting evidence to inquires in support of RRD business. The position will develop, implement and support processes to facilitate continual process improvements and evolution as it relates to information and the strategic vision of IT Governance.
Develop an understanding and in-depth knowledge of multiple lines of businesses to effectively formulate responses that represent the Information Technology Security Policies and Procedures of RR Donnelley in relationship to the business services and location of which they are being provided.
Review and update Risk Management documentation to ensure that it remains in alignment with current RR Donnelley Information Technology Security Policies and Procedures.
Represent IT Governance in onsite and remote audits of RR Donnelley Information Security Policy and Procedures as requested by business customers and formerly document the activities, results and remediations.
Assist with the review of Information Technology Security sections of contracts and Requests for Proposals to ensure alignment with RR Donnelley Information Technology Security Policies and IT Governance guidelines.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 3-5 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
Able to demonstrate ability to determine scope of engagements and identity Information Technology risks by asking open ended questions and analyzing responses.
Strong documentation skills to properly record appropriate responses in alignment with analysis. Must be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at a level of detail required to ensure understanding of documented analysis.
Able to apply strong functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignments. Requires ability to quickly understand business concepts and how they interact between business units. Able to demonstrate continued expertise in the primary tools or applications used in completing daily work assignments.
Requires very good communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand. Must be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations. Must be able to clearly articulate business scope and Information Technology policies to both internal and external customers.
