Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of the company's consolidated financial statements, footnotes and other disclosures/information needed in connection with the company's quarterly and annual filings with the SEC

  • Provide direct accounting and reporting support to the company's Compensation and Benefits team

  • Assist with accounting for the company's worldwide pension and postretirement plans

  • Assist with accounting for the company's equity compensation and executive compensation plans

  • Maintain the company's basic and diluted weighted-average shares calculation

  • Assist with XBRL detailed tagging of the company's Form 10-Qs and Form 10-Ks

  • Provide U.S. GAAP support and guidance to the company's global finance and accounting organization

  • Support the implementation of new U.S. GAAP accounting standards

  • Perform technical accounting research

  • Identify and implement process and control improvements

  • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years professional experience including public accounting and/or directly relevant industry experience with multi-national SEC registrant

  • Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and high integrity

  • Strong planning and project management skills

  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects

  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines

  • Detail oriented while not losing sight of the big picture

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency using Microsoft Excel

  • Oracle Hyperion EPM experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of XBRL preferred

  • Wdesk SEC Reporting module (Workiva) experience a plus

  • Must be able to work extra hours when necessary

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting

  • CPA
