The Registrar greets, instructs, directs, and schedules patients and visitors. Serves as liaison between patient and medical support staff. Promotes a positive climate for good interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships. Knowledge of business office procedures, grammar, spelling in order to type or write patient information. Skill in using a computer, fax machine, photocopier, postage machine and calculator. Greeting patients and answering the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, patients, organizations, public and superiors.
Qualifications - Minimum
High School Diploma or GED with approximately one to two years’ experience in a related medical field is desirable in order to fully develop skills and become knowledgeable about departmental and organizational procedures.
Ability to type 25 wpm required. Ability to speak clearly and concisely. Read, understand, and follow oral and written instruction. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Clearly communicate in written form and verbally with patients, clerical, administrative staff and the public.

PRN: days/evenings and weekends.
