Employ structured problem solving methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives.
Work with Black Belt and Green Belt-certified professionals in the planning, designing, and accomplishing of key projects.
Equip/Lead/Coach/Mentor/ teams to define processes, owners, and control methods using Six Sigma methods and tools to reduce costs and deliver desired results.
Lead efforts to establish program and process objectives and the measurement of how effectively the processes fulfill those objectives.
Find and eliminate the Root Cause of technical and transactional problems.
Collect and analyze data.
Review individual customer feedback to understand voice of the customer.
Look for trends and early customer feedback.
Provide expertise in statistical tools and systems/process auditing.
Make improvements to the quality management system to support root cause elimination.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or related field is required.
Minimum of two years black belt experience (teaching and coaching) and two years experience as an internal auditor.
Experience with pareto principle, multi-vari analysis, hypothesis testing, probability, DOE, Value Stream Mappng, Poka-Yoka.
Training and certification through a Six Sigma/Technical problem solving accredited organization preferred.
Exceptional self-direction, system style thinking, and experience with project management is necessary.
Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures such as Red X, Robust Engineering, DFSS, TOC, Lean, ISO, GD&T, data base management and creation, warranty analysis, Document Management, Etc.) to lead and direct the work of others.
Must be experienced in creating and delivering Six Sigma and Technical Problem Solving materials.
Advanced skills in Microsoft products such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word, as well as exposure to Statistical software such as Minitab.
Must be able to travel up to 25%.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Vehicle knowledge regarding the operation of systems (Mechanical/Electrical/ Hydraulic) is preferred.
Quality Management System auditing and development experience is preferred.
