Technical support of the DV/Prototype wire harness assembly department.
Maintain Design for Manufacturability (DFM) guidelines for wire harness manufacturing.
Review Prototype/DV Level prints & BOMs for accuracy and manufacturability.
Communicate with Engineering, AME, AQE, and Purchasing on project status.
Write comprehensive reports detailing results from prototype and design verification builds.
Evaluate, select, and procure tools, applicators and other equipment.
Develop programs for assigned assembly & test equipment.
Conduct time studies and work breakdown to develop accurate production routings for cost and production estimates.
Wire form boards to test wire harness assemblies.
2-year Engineering degree or 5 years of experience in a wire harness manufacturing environment.
Must demonstrate good communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Vesys, and a variety of wire harness assembly and testing equipment are preferred.
