The Inside Sales Account Manager position is responsible for retaining and growing revenue within an assigned territory focused on selling Legal Research solutions to 1 and 2 attorney law firms. The Sales Account Manager position will work independently as well as collaboratively with various business partners. Additionally, the Sales Account Manager will lead the service and sales activity in all accounts.

Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Account Manager:

  • Achieve all sales goals and objectives.

  • Provide account management within the assigned territory.

  • Drive sales within the Research solution line.

  • Negotiate and/or renegotiating contracts within the assigned territory.

  • Leading the process to enhance customer satisfaction and improve the overall customer experience.

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of all research solutions and competitive products in order to articulate the benefits and advantages of LexisNexis products.

  • Showcase new products and features including conducting product demos.

  • Build and utilizing customer relationships to maintain and grow revenue.

  • Create a territory plan, including account planning and execution to maximize growth within the assigned territory.

  • Leverage the "Get Real Selling" strategy.

  • Utilizing and driving the adoption on all required processes, tools and systems including our CRM system

  • Onboard new customers effectively to minimize non-pay shut offs.

  • Comply with sales policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications of the Inside Sales Account Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 1-2 years’ successful sales experience, preferably with complex solutions

  • Knowledge of legal industry, competitive landscape, and LexisNexis product knowledge preferred

  • Knowledge and proficiency with technology tools, CRM
