We offer thebest full-­time schedule in retail. ­Our Store is open Monday to Saturday, from7 AM to ­8 PM, and Sundays from 12 to 5 PM.

OurRETAIL STORE ASSISTANT MANAGER assists with theMANAGEMENT of all aspects ofSTORE OPERATIONS. She/he provides day-to-dayPRIORITIZED DIRECTIONto ACHIEVE KEY PERFORMANCEand FINANCIAL OBJECTIVES. Our Store Assistant Manager collaborates with our Store Manager onDIRECTIONALandPERFORMANCE PLANNING including annual budgeting of expense and sales planning.

As part of leadership, Assistant Managers:

Build a team!Interviewing, hiring, orientation, and training. Serve as arole model,mentorand resource. Initiating corrective action as needed

Executeallsupply chain/inventory managementprocesses and procedures within the store

Maintainmerchandise ensure properproduct rotation, properfood handling,receiving, andproduct quality,presentationandvisual marketing/merchandising, executeplanograms

Determineneededinitiativesin collaboration with store leadership by utilizing daily and weekly key performance indicators and financial reporting

Overseethe externalordering processsuch as e-comm and express orders

Assist Store Manager with theannual budgetingprocess for sales and expenses andanalyzes monthly financial reporting, and address variances when necessary

Support and executeonin-store promotional activitieswith a high level of engagement and oversight on promotions and merchandising direction

Assessvoice of customer data to identify customer experience trends for improvement while acknowledging and recognizing individual and store performance excellence As for any position, there are some requirements

Two (2) or more years of retail management experiencewith an emphasis on merchandising, inventory management and operational oversight

Grocery retail experiencewithin perishables, grocery and general merchandise categories (preferred)

You must be18 years of ageor older (required)

High School Diploma/ Equivalent (required)

Successfullypassourhair drug screen,driving recordandcriminal backgroundcheck requirements

You must maintain avalid driver’s licenseand safe driving record per GFS policy

Excellentwritten and verbal communication, customer service skillsand goodorganizational skillsto represent the store and speak at minor functions

Problem solving. May refer to established procedures and policies

Ability tomulti-taskandprioritize

Self-starter-be able to work independently when applicable

Team Player

Ability to work infast-paced, retail environment
