Production Supervisor - Lancaster, OH
Experienced Production Supervisor to manage and coordinate the efforts of all hourly (Production and Maintenance) department employees. Ensure that product specifications are met with a high standard of quality. Ensure compliance with all standards, policies, regulations, for the safe, environmentally sound production of a quality product.

Work closely with team members to provide a safe work environment. Make recommendations to improve safety, environmental and health of the entire facility.
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shift with constant emphasis on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
Assure conformance of WIP and FG product to company, industry, and customer specifications at minimum cost and optimum efficiency.Direct, train and coach shift employees.
Responsible to maintain department shop floor metrics, visual controls, and continuous improvement methods to the manufacturing floor.
Direct and execute daily production requirements.Meet or exceed productivity goals.Maintain waste generation at or beow budgeted standard.
Inspect the finished product to ensure quality specifications are met.Management of manufacturing employees to include performance reviews and discipline.Maintain full compliance of all GMPs.
Maintain full compliance of all safety rules. Maintain housekeeping excellence.Ensure all production reporting is completed timely and accurately for each shift.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.Strong interpersonal relations and written communication skills.Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe condiditons to the appropriate administrator.3 - 7 years of supervisory experience in a supervisory or leadership role with production or manufacturing experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent is sufficient. However, Bachelor's Degree is sa plus and strongly preferredAny combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position.Packaging industry experience preferred (paperboard and/or corrugated)Prior work experience in a corrugated manufacturing plant is a plus.
