Johnson Controls Assoc Sales Eng Construction in Holland, Ohio

You’ll be developing long-term customer relationships with assigned accounts such as contractors, consulting engineers and building owners, working toward the goal of making Johnson Controls the preferred supplier of HVAC equipment, controls, and commercial unitary products: “last look” with contractors; “default spec” with consulting engineers; “trusted advisor” with account owners. With assigned contracts, you’ll perform take offs and bid the full spectrum of Johnson Controls products, consistently delivering sales between $1 and $3 million. You’ll partner with other sales representatives and/or agents to maximize the profit generation of your accounts by influencing specifications (with owners and consulting engineers), as well as market pricing (with contractors). In partnership with your manager, you will:• Execute the sales process to cultivate and manage long-term relationships.• Utilize sales tools to plan and document progress, as well as to expand the depth and breadth of Johnson Controls offerings within existing accounts.• Build partnering relationships with owners or owner representatives in key decision-making roles.• Seek out, qualify and close new sales opportunities, on a monthly basis.• Meet quarterly sales quotas based on annual sales plans. • Develop relationships with internal operations and administrative staff to ensure customer satisfaction, and effectively and efficiently address issues.• Manage receivables balances in line with JCI objectives and policies. #external
