MED EIT Organization has a new budgeted role for a Software Engineer supporting Medical Core Systems. This new associate will be located in Parkwood Dublin, Ohio.

Accountabilities in this role

  • Supports the implementation process by executing against plans, collaborates with colleagues to complete assigned tasks
  • Strong experience in Functional Knowledge area of SAP Material Management, SD-Order to Cash and Source to Supply process
  • Strong techno functional knowledge in debugging, table structure and IDOC process
  • Strong Experience in SAP inbound and outbound interfaces
  • Develop business process knowledge and able to apply the knowledge to development of software functionality and related documentation
  • Participates in conversations with business to understand requirements and works with leads to identify options
  • Participates in Build to Run transitions and documents the knowledge transfer activities
  • Research day to day issues and work with leads in timely resolution
  • Perform root cause analysis on issues working with leads in the team
  • Collaborate with other EIT teams as needed in performing the support activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Business or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 4+ years of working experience in SAP required
  • Working knowledge of two or more technologies preferred
  • Intermediate to Expert level SAP skills in SAP ECC 6.0 with hands-on experience configuring Customer, Material and Vendor Master Data.
  • Good understanding of integrations into SAP MM, SD and FI Modules
  • Familiarity with processes and integrations of SAP Modules MM and SD
  • Participation in a full life cycle implementation is a plus
  • Data conversion/Migration experience is a plus
  • Good analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Good PC skills; including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of business processes within an organization

Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the company's business objectives.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.
  • Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.
  • Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.
  • Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.
  • Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.
  • Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.
