Description:

The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for purchase order entry, purchase order filing and file maintenance, purchase order expediting. Monitoring inventories of standard office supplies for both the Dayton facility and some satellite offices. Monitoring toner, proposal supplies and reordering to maintain stocking levels for the Dayton Facility. Interact with accounts payable to resolve any PO invoice issues. Create and maintain vendor files including business certifications. Purchase some supplies.

Requirements:

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and ability to organize are essential.

  • Experience with Costpoint desired but not required.

  • Familiarity with government approved purchasing system or CPSR experience highly desired.

  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Prefer at least 2 years of relevant experience.
