Collect and analyze quality data. Track quality metrics. Oversee ISO9001 registered Quality Management System (QMS), quality documents, corrective and preventive actions, internal audits, and training. Perform other quality tasks as required.   • Collect and analyze data to diagnose quality problems and recommend improvements.

  • Maintain and analyze customer complaint databases for converter and paper problems.

  • Track quality metrics and prepare reports for management review meetings.

  • Administer our ISO9001 registered QMS.

  • Write, revise, issue, and control QMS documents.

  • Manage the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) system and monitor response timeliness.

  • Oversee the internal audit process and train auditors.

  • Maintain training records and issue training documents.

  • Oversee quality performance measurement of Ranpak suppliers.

  • Ensure QMS is prepared for ISO surveillance and re-certification audits.

  • Conduct internal audits of the QMS at Concord, Kansas City, and Reno.

  • Issue CAPA requests.

  • Assist in failure analysis of returned parts and machines.

  • Analyze paper attribute and performance data.

  • Issue Special QA inspection forms.

  • Maintain and order Quality office supplies.

  • Perform some duties of Quality coworkers as needed during their absences.

Position Requirements


  • Bachelor degree with 2 years related quality experience, or Associate degree /equivalent with 5 years related quality experience, or equivalent experience. Technical or business degrees are preferred.

  • Experience with statistical analysis and SPC

  • Experience with fundamental quality techniques (e.g., Pareto analysis)

  • Working knowledge of ISO9001 system requirements is essential.

  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and email is required.

  • Working knowledge of Access is desirable.

  • Experience in using BaaN is desirable.

  • Logical thought processes.

  • Proficient at writing and editing.

  • Strong leadership, facilitation and project management skills.

  • Effective presenter, excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Extensive PC knowledge, including database, spreadsheet and web.

  • Team player, able to build business teams and manage across a matrix.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Travel: 35%
