          *
          GENERAL SUMMARY
          Responsible for large amount of capillary and venipuncture phlebotomy, processing of samples and entry of related information in the Laboratory Information System. Must be a supportive link between the Outpatient Laboratory, main lab, clinics and community physician and able to work efficiently and independently while promoting a team environment.

          This position is located at our Cleveland Draw Station.

          MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
          *
          High school diploma or equivalent.
          *
          Two years medical experience.
          *
          Two years of pediatric phlebotomy experience.
          *
          Ability to work independently & excellent communication skills.

          MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
          *
          Ability to stand for more than 1 hour at a time, sit for more than 1 hour at a time.
          *
          Good visual and auditory acuity.
          *
          Full use of hands and arms.
          *
          Ability to speak clearly.
          *
          Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
