KeyBank Finance Analyst in Cleveland, Ohio
Essential Job Functions:
Works closely with the KeyBanc Capital Markets Finance Director and Business Leaders on the following:Monthly/quarterly analysis of financial results and performance to targets
Providing information related to business initiatives & drivers of favorable and unfavorable performance. Inclusive of balance sheet flows, loan and deposit pricing trends, economic capital, loan loss allowance, and non interest income and expense drivers
Provide support in the form of financial modeling for the following: strategic plans, forecasts, performance management, client and product profitability, and incentive compensation
Partners with KeyBanc Capital Markets Finance Director and Business Leaders, Corporate Banking CFO, Planning and Performance Management, Treasury, Accounting, Credit, and Real Estate Strategic Services on daily, monthly, and quarterly tasks
Bachelors Degree (Finance, Accounting or related field)
1+ years of analytical experience in Finance, Business or related field
Organized self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively
Strong financial and/or accounting acumen
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met and quality standards achieved
Ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively
Detail oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues with limited direction
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
Experience working with financial system reporting environments (i.e., Essbase, IBM TM1 or Cognos, etc.)
