U.S. Bank is seeking a Facility Chief Engineer with large site services support and Data Center experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Manages a facility engineering environment supporting one or more of the company's main data centers. May manage regional satellite data centers. Responsible for all site services. Coordinates and supervises the inspection, repair, installation, modification, and routine maintenance to all critical facility systems. Provides problem-solving and corrective action solutions related to all critical facility systems. This position typically supports a work force of at least 8-10 Plant Engineers. Works with management to develop, recommend, and implement departmental policy, guidelines, standards, and procedures. Assures compliance with all governing corporate standards and guidelines. Develops, maintains, manages, and tracks all current plant installation documentation, critical records, drawings, and the facility department budget. Manages all building related staffing requirements to include performance evaluations and specific site initiatives. Makes recommendations to management regarding promotions, salary, and other personnel actions. Works within the salary and personnel guidelines. Builds and maintains effective communication and relationships with management team, vendors, and peers. Develops and maintains interpersonal communication channels to convey information internally and externally. Demonstrates the sense of urgency and commitment required for managing a 24/7 Mission Critical Data Center type environment. Demonstrates skills, behaviors, and attitudes consistent with the strategic objectives and values of the organization. Ensures OSHA compliance and administers safety and environmental programs, including training and certification, to ensure employees have a safe and secure work environment. Responsible for all site services including: electrical and mechanical distribution, power generation, cooling, UPS, automated building controls, and Fire/Life/Safety. Manages large staff, 100 employees. Oversees complex employee relations issues. Approves management hires/transfers and salary adjustments. Responsible for the planning, development, and control of large, aggregate budgets for multiple projects/departments.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

-Associate's degree or equivalent work experience

-AFE Certified Plant Maintenance Manager

-AFE Certified Plant Supervisor

-At least 8 years experience with management approaches, tools, and techniques for gaining the cooperation and support of others.

-At least 8 years experience with the electrical engineering, maintenance, environmental, health, safety, energy, controls/instrumentation, civil engineering, and HVAC needs of a facility or plant.
